Disc Golf - Sets
Hit the path this weekend with our complete disc sets
You've seen videos on the web, your friends have been talking to you about it for weeks, and now you've finally decided to go and try the Île-Charron or Mirabel course. The problem ? If you show up there with a standard beach Frisbee or a single high-speed disc you bought randomly on the internet, you're going to spend your day looking for your plastic in the woods and destroying your technique. In disc golf, each phase of play requires a precise aerodynamic profile. At Nation Sport, we have brought together the best of the major brands (Innova, Discraft, Latitude 64, MVP) in complete turnkey packages. You open the box, you have the exact tools for each type of throw, and you're instantly ready to score.
The three essentials in one box, without the hassle
No need to spend hours analyzing complex stability charts. Our starter kits contain the disc golfer's holy trinity:
-
The Fairway Driver (Long controlled distance): An aerodynamic disc designed to cut through the air and gain distance on your first throw from the tee pad, without requiring professional-level arm speed.
-
The Midrange (Control and approach): The Swiss army knife in your bag. It's the straightest, most predictable disc in the kit, perfect for navigating through trees on trails and placing your trajectory close to the basket.
-
The Putter (Final precision): A thicker disc with maximum grip textured plastic (grip). It is designed to fly slowly, float in a straight line and hold securely to metal chains without bouncing outside.
Your first official departure begins at our Boucherville warehouse
Why risk ordering a kit from a foreign site and stressing about customs or endless delivery times? All of our stock of disc sets is physically here in Boucherville. If you want to maximize your playing experience and meet our performance goal to cut shipping costs, take the opportunity to add beginner's essentials to your cart: a textured microfiber towel to wipe the morning dew off your new discs, a PDGA regulatory mini marker disc, or a small lightweight shoulder carry bag. You place your order online, we prepare it quickly, and you have the assurance of jumping into the field 100% independently.
The Coach's Advice
The classic mistake to avoid: When you unpack your first complete set, the temptation is enormous to want to use the Driver (the thinnest disc) on ALL throws, saying to yourself "this is the one that goes the furthest". Big mistake! Distance discs require a lot of rotational speed to fly straight. If you don't yet have the right technique, your driver will turn sharply to the left after only 50 feet of flight (if you throw with your right hand). For your first rounds, use your Midrange for 80% of your shots from the start. It will fly much straighter, forgive your angle errors and, ultimately, give you much better distances than your driver!
