Men's swimsuits - Competition
Hunt the thousandths: the competition skin that defies physics
When we talk about skin competition or technical swimsuit, we no longer talk about comfort or resistance to chlorine for training on Tuesday evenings. We're talking about hydrodynamic armor designed for one goal: to explode your personal best on the big day. Ultra-thin fabric, targeted compression that repels muscle fatigue and a water-repellent treatment that makes water slide off like a duck's feathers. At our Boucherville warehouse, we stock the best racing jammers approved by World Aquatics (former FINA) for Quebec swimmers who want to get on the podium.
Surgical compression for maximum buoyancy
A good racing skin transforms your figure to give you the highest possible position on the water. It is pure textile engineering, selected from the racing giants (Arena Powerskin, Speedo Fastskin, Funkita).
-
Intelligent Compression Technology: Internal tension bands and compressive fabric trap your muscles to reduce vibration, maximize energy return with every wall push, and stabilize your pelvis when arms start to burn.
-
Ultrasonically welded seams: No wire, no extra thickness. Taped seams eliminate friction with the water and create a perfectly smooth surface for riding the wave.
-
Race day protocol: Your skin is ready, but have you thought about the rest? Don't ruin your race with glasses that move at the start. Combine your jersey with profiled racing glasses (like Arena Cobra or Speedo Hyper Elite) and a high-density silicone molded racing hat to eliminate the slightest micro-turbulence around your head.

💡 Coach's advice: The (very long) ritual of putting on If you put on your competition skin in less than 15 minutes, it's too big. A technical racing jersey should be worn dry, on perfectly dry skin, with patience (and often gloves so as not to pierce the fabric with your nails). Pull it up millimeter by millimeter, starting from the ankles/knees, without ever pulling on the seams. It must be so tight that it almost takes your breath away at first. It's this extreme compression that will stiffen your body in the water and make you float like a log. Keep it only for your shopping; as soon as your final is finished, you take it off to let the fabric (and your legs) breathe.
