Pickleball - Rackets

Find your next pickleball paddle: Expert advice

Whether you have just swapped your tennis racket to discover the sport that makes Quebec vibrate, or whether you spend your summers roaming the outdoor courts of your municipality, one thing is certain: your paddle is an extension of your hand. The problem is that with the explosion of pickleball, the market is flooded with models with magical promises. Between wooden paddles as heavy as cast iron skillets and three hundred dollar space technologies, there is a happy medium. Our goal at Nation Sport is not to give you the most expensive model in the catalog, but to help you find the frame that will fit your style of play, your budget and your ambitions for progression.

From the first dink to the tournament match, choose your weapon

We tested, weighed and pushed dozens of models to the limit to keep only the best of the game. Whether you are looking for a tolerant first paddle or a raw carbon competition beast, our selection has you covered:

  • Control paddles (16mm): The perfect thickness to cushion the game, excel in the Kitchen and calm the heat of overly aggressive players.

  • Power models (13mm to 14mm): Thinner, stiffer, perfect for bangers who like to punish the opponent with deep drives and surgical smashes.

  • Surface materials: From dynamic composite for beginners to textured carbon that grips the ball to generate vicious spin.

  • Hybrid or elongated shapes: Depending on whether you prefer a giant, reassuring sweet spot or a long handle for your two-handed backhand.

Your performance partner powered by Boucherville expertise

We're going to talk frankly: ordering a racket on a foreign site in the hope that it arrives in time for your dima-match is risky. No bad surprises here. Our Boucherville warehouse is full of real stock from Babolat, Selkirk and Onix. We ship faster than your shadow and we're waiting for you for local pickup. But we don't stop there. So that your equipment is complete and efficient, we help you choose the right outdoor balls (those that don't split in the first gust of October wind) and the grips adapted to the sweat of intense games. We're here to make you play better, period.

Coach's advice:

Never neglect the importance of handle size (Grip Grandeur) ! This is the most common error and causes tennis elbows by the ton in Quebec. If your handle is too small, your hand will tense up to prevent the racket from rotating during heavy impacts. If you are hesitating between two sizes, always choose the smaller one. Why? Because it is super easy to make a handle bigger by adding a quality textured overgrip (which also improves comfort), whereas it is impossible to shrink a racket that is too big. Do the index finger test: when you grip your paddle, there should be just enough space between the tips of your fingers and the palm of your hand to slip the index finger of your other hand inside.
