Pickleball - Paddless for children
Get your kids moving with our pickleball paddles for children
You want to get your kids off screens and get them moving at the local park, but every time they try your adult paddle, they hold it with both hands, hit it next to the ball, and end up getting bored after five minutes? It's normal. A standard racquet is too long and too heavy for their little arms, completely destroying their coordination. At Nation Sport, we believe that pickleball is the most beautiful family sport for connecting generations, provided you have the right tool in your hands. Our junior pickleball paddles are specially proportioned for young players: they're lightweight, easy to handle and feature colorful designs that make them just want to jump on the court to beat you.
Snowshoes adapted to small hands for maximum fun
No question of giving them cheap plastic that vibrates and hurts their wrists. Our models for children are real miniature performance machines:
-
An ultra-short and thin handle: That's the secret. A shorter shaft brings the center of gravity closer to the child's hand, giving them ten times more control to hit the ball every time.
-
The “featherweight” weight: Our junior models generally weigh around 6.5 to 7 ounces. It's light enough to prevent muscle fatigue and growing injuries to your shoulders or elbows.
-
Robust anti-shock surface: We know what children are like. The paddle will fall to the ground, rub on the cement and hit the net post. Our incorporate reinforced protective strips to survive intense treatments will most likely increase its life expectancy.

It's the perfect recipe for spending a memorable afternoon outside with the family.
💡 The Coach's Advice
The classic mistake to avoid: Don't make the mistake of buying an adult racket and thinking "he'll grow with it." In pickleball, if the handle is too big for your child's hand, they will have to tense their fingers as much as possible to avoid dropping the racket. Result ? Zero flow, frustration, and unnecessary pain. To find out if the size is right, ask him to squeeze the handle: there should be enough space between the tips of his fingers and the palm of his hand to slide in your own index finger. If his fingers come all the way around and squish into his palm, the handle is perfect for his age!
