The Coach's Advice

The classic mistake to avoid: The common mistake with the tankini is to choose the top a size too large, thinking that it will camouflage the belly more fluidly. Big mistake! Once in the water, the loose fabric at the top will become engorged with liquid, float, and rise to your armpits at the slightest wave or as soon as you raise your arms to swim. Always choose a tankini top that is fitted and hugs your torso firmly and dryly. The elastic at the bottom of the shirt should stick to your hips: this is your only guarantee that the swimsuit will stay in place and flat when you jump into the pool.
