Swimming - Parachute - Resistance

More power in your wrestling : our Finis resistance parachutes

Let's face it: aligning the lengths of blue without ever changing pace is the best way to stagnate and get bored in your hallway. If you want to feel a real push, maximize your water intake wrestling and finally see your times go down, resistance is your best ally. At Nation Sport, we selected the Finis range of parachutes because we know that you need equipment that holds up, length after length, without cutting your hips. Whether you train at the Boucherville aquatic complex or in your local club's pool, it's the ultimate tool to transform your positioning in the water.

Break the monotony of lengths and build your raw strength

The goal here is not to sink to the bottom of the pool, but to force your body to recruit more muscle fibers with each pulling phase. By adding controlled hydrodynamic resistance, you develop specific power that indoor bodybuilding will never be able to reproduce.

Here's what makes the difference on our Finis models in stock:

  • Marine Grade Nylon: Designed to withstand heavy chlorine without fading or fraying after three weeks.

  • Ultra-comfortable neoprene belt: It stays in place on your hips, preventing you from the classic irritations when you push against the wall.

  • Distinct resistor sizes: From the small yellow model to maintain a high cadence to the large red model for pure strength work.

  • Full compatibility: It works just as well for crawling as it does for working on your dolphin to butterfly undulation.

The stock is in Boucherville, the real advice is here

We don't make false promises with virtual stock that comes from the other side of the world. Everything you see here is physically in our warehouse in Boucherville, ready to be slipped into your swimming bag. We test what we sell, and we know exactly how a parachute should behave so as not to disrupt your alignment. No catalog jargon, just real material for local swimmers who want to really progress.

💡 Coach's Tip: Avoid the "too big, too fast" trap The classic mistake with the Finis parachute is wanting to show off with the big red model from the first session. If your strength drops, your hips will sink, your legs will drag at the bottom and you will completely screw up your swimming technique. My advice: start with the small model (yellow). You must be able to maintain your core and a good high position on the water. If you feel your butt going down, decrease the size of the parachute or reduce the distance. Power is no use if you're not hydrodynamic!
