Training - Agility Ladders and Cones
Become faster on your first steps with our agility ladders
It's classic: summer is coming, you run your 5 km three times a week, you have cardio to spare, but as soon as you jump on the soccer field, touch football or dek hockey, you get a cold on the first change of direction. For what ? Because running in a straight line doesn't teach you to transfer your body weight instantly. To break ankles and leave your opponents in place, it comes down to foot speed and eye-foot coordination. Our agility ladders and training cones are selected for this: to take you out of your straight comfort zone and force your nervous system to activate for real.
The secret of explosiveness lies between the slats
No need for fluff or $500 electronic gadgets to develop electric supports. A green space at the local park, a piece of asphalt or the basement during the winter, and you're ready to work.
-
Materials that survive crampons: No more cheap models that break in two as soon as you miss your In-and-Out. Our ladders use flexible high-density plastic rungs and nylon straps that won't tangle in your bag in two seconds.
-
Cones that return to their shape: We have all already run into a rigid cone that burst into a thousand pieces. Our training cups low-profile are ultra-flexible: you hit them with your crampons or your running shoes, they crush and spring back into place.
-
Multisport versatility: Whether you're skating, playing basketball, or preparing for hockey training camp, exercise variability allows you to simulate the real-world demands of your sport.
Build your tailor-made training circuit with Nation Sport
At Nation Sport, we know that a serious agility course doesn't stop at rolling out a ladder on the ground. To optimize your plyometrics and sprint sessions, it pays to combine the tools. That's why we stock everything you need at our Boucherville warehouse: relax your muscles with our massage rollers, add resistance to your lateral movements with our elastic fabric bands, or take the intensity up a notch by arranging your cones with our adjustable mini-hurdles. You pick up everything in one place, you save on shipping, and you have pro-level kit that fits in a single backpack.
💡 The Coach's Advice
The classic mistake to avoid: Stop looking at your feet when you do your ladder drills! At the beginning, it's normal to stare at the ground to capture the pattern (the famous Ickey Shuffle), but as soon as you master the movement, force yourself to raise your head and look straight ahead. In a match, the ball, the puck or the defender are not drawn on your shoes. If you train with your head down, you develop a visual blind spot that will cost you dearly in real life. Quick tip: Ask a friend to stand in front of you and raise a random number of fingers as you pass to force you to keep your eyes up.
